Legendary Broadcast Pioneer Dan Mason Discusses “FEARLESS: The Life and Times of a Media Maverick”
Legendary broadcasting pioneer, Dan Mason, former President/CEO of CBS Radio, joined Buck from our C&B New York studio to discuss, “FEARLESS: The Life and Times of a Media Maverick.” He explained that he wrote the book to create a historical roadmap of his life in radio and write down the “Danisms” (industry lessons) taught to him by others over his decades-long career.
Dan revealed that 100% of the profits from Fearless are being donated to the Broadcasters Foundation of America, where he serves as Chairman Emeritus. The organization provides emergency financial assistance to former radio and television professionals facing acute needs, such as severe illness or poverty.
