OutKick Breaks Another Big Story on the Penn Trans Swimmer

BUCK: “In an exclusive interview with OutKick, a biological female…” This is written by Joe Kinsey. “[A] biological female member of the women’s swimming team said she believes her teammate, transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, colluded with Yale transgender swimmer Iszac Henig, who’s transitioning from female to male, during a 100 freestyle race on January 8.

“The swimmer, granted anonymity due to what is viewed as threats from the university, activists, and the current political climate, believes Thomas, who has reportedly been comparing herself to Jackie Robinson,” wow, “and Henig cooked up a plan before a Penn home tri-meet with Yale and Dartmouth. ‘Looking at [Lia’s] time, I don’t think she was trying,’ the Penn swimmer alleges. ‘I know they’re friends and I know they were talking before the meet. I think she let her win to prove the point that, “Oh see, a female-to-male beat me,”‘” end quote.

I gotta tell you, as soon as I read this… It’s on Fox News, but it’s an OutKick story. As soon as I read this, I said, “Yeah, that’s what happened. That totally makes sense, “because initially when I talked about this story, I would say, ‘But hold on a second. So a male-to-female transition must have beat another male-to-female transition?” “No, no, no, this is a female-to-male transition.”

Give me a break, okay? There’s absolutely… I do not believe that Lia Thomas, who was on the brink of getting all-time records, all of a sudden swims against a female-to-male transition swimmer and loses substantially. I do not believe it. I think this is… Think about how much sense this would make, right? Because the whole argument is that a male competitor of a certain level is going to beat all women of a certain level, essentially.

I’ve done enough sports and been in enough situations where I can see this, right? We used to do row competitions — which, by the way, are absolutely miserable. I rowed in college at Amherst College for three seasons, and I do not recommend it. You get up really early in the morning. Yeah, you get in good shape but your hands look like hamburger meat all the time, constantly blistered up. Anyway, it’s not fun.

But it’s pretty good for you. The point being, I remember from the times, if you can be a mediocre male heavyweight rower at the college level, you would be almost an Olympic-level female. I mean, you would have been (laughing) — and look. This is not telling anybody things they don’t already know. We all know this, right, we all understand this, and this is not to take anything away from female athletes.

The whole reason we have male and female sports broken up by gender is because of this. But I do think that these two trans athletes are playing games here. I think that something went on, because it didn’t make any sense. It didn’t make any sense, the disparity. You don’t go from blowing all the other swimmers out of the water to being in the situation where the female-to-male transition would be able to win again against this individual.

It just doesn’t make any sense, right? There’s something strange going on. A female to male beat me; so all of a sudden, we’re supposed to believe that it’s not so unfair? The piece writes, “The anonymous Penn swimmer also accuses Thomas of mailing it in during the January 8 200 freestyle race that the transgender swimmer (1:48:73) won by two seconds. ‘I was on deck and said to a friend, “She’s literally not trying.” You could just tell. It was blatantly obvious.'”

I totally believe this. There’s a lot at stake here for people, a lot at stake for a belief system, a trans-agenda belief system of the left and also the reality that the Democrat Party has really embraced this stuff and sports media has certainly embraced it as well such that they can’t even answer straightforward questions. I remember, I started working with Matt Walsh at The Blaze — oh, gosh, I don’t even know now — six or seven years ago now, something like that.

I remember thinking, “This guy is gonna be somebody that we hear a lot more from in the future.” He’s a very talented writer, and he’s also good on his feet, and he was on Dr. Phil’s show. He was on Dr. Phil’s show, and there were two trans activists there, and he posed a very straightforward question to them. ‘Cause if we’re gonna get to the heart of the trans agenda and women sports…

By the way, NCAA just came out with a new policy. They’re looking at their new policy for trans athletes, and they’re saying that it’s gonna be sport by sport, which is what the Olympics do. But they’re just trying to not make a real decision. Okay? This is about getting you to bend the knee to untruth, ultimately, ’cause if the left can make you say that men and women, there’s no real difference, they can make you say anything.

They control you. They’ve emotionally disarmed you and psychologically and intellectually. Well, Matt Walsh doesn’t go for that. Here he is standing his ground on this. I’ve never watched Dr. Phil’s show before, but I know who Dr. Phil is. But watch this. Listen to this. Play 11.

BUCK: Well done, Matt. Well done. Just ask the most straightforward questions and watch the absurdity of it spin out of control. “What is a woman?” “Someone who identifies as a woman.” You know what? False. Sorry. The sky is not green and water is wet and there are some things that we just have to accept as true, and there are other things that we will not accept as true. So, well done here. But remember, they want to make you bend the knee because if they can get you to say men and women aren’t different, what do you think the left can’t force you to say? And to undermine your own belief in your ability to discern truth in the process?
